AECI Specialty Chemicals (Jacobs) Apprentice (Instrument Tech) Purpose of the job • Trainee role to acquire knowledge and skills of an Instrument Technician Required Outputs Functions • To be trained and gain knowledge and understanding of an Instrument Technician • Learn maintenance • Adhere to Zero harm • Compliance with all safety, Health and environmental procedures and legislation • Comply with SETA requirements in relation to apprenticeship program Requirements: Qualifications and Experience • Grade 12 (with Science and Mathematics as subjects) is essential • Basic Computer Skills Personal Attributes: Competencies (Skills, Knowledge and Characteristics) • Attention to detail is critical • Time management • Good communication skills • Team player
