Key Responsibilities Assist experienced bricklayers in preparing building sites, including mixing mortar and transporting materials. Learn and apply techniques for laying bricks, blocks, and other masonry units accurately and neatly. Read and interpret basic construction plans and drawings. Cut bricks and other masonry materials to size as required. Assist in setting out walls and structures according to specifications. Ensure work areas are kept clean and tidy, and tools are maintained. Adhere strictly to all health and safety regulations on construction sites. Requirements A strong interest in a trade career and a willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
