This apprenticeship offers rigorous training in maintaining and installing electrical systems within an industrial setting, including complex machinery and control systems. You will work under the guidance of experienced industrial electricians, learning to diagnose faults, perform repairs, and ensure the safe and efficient operation of electrical infrastructure. This is a prime opportunity to gain specialized skills in industrial electrical work within the Gauteng region. Key Responsibilities • Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial electrical systems and machinery. • Learn to read and interpret industrial electrical schematics and control diagrams. • Perform diagnostic tests on electrical equipment and troubleshoot issues. • Conduct preventive maintenance on electrical systems to minimize downtime. • Ensure all electrical work complies with industrial safety standards and regulations. • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed. Requirements • Grade 12 (Matric) with a strong pass in Mathematics and Physical Science. • A keen interest in industrial electrical systems and automation. • Ability to work safely in a potentially hazardous industrial environment. • Good problem-solving skills
