This apprenticeship offers a pathway to becoming a skilled welder, learning various welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, and Stick welding. You will work on diverse projects, gaining practical experience in fabricating and repairing metal structures under the supervision of expert welders. This role is crucial for manufacturing, construction, and repair industries, providing a solid foundation for a successful trade career. Key Responsibilities Assist experienced welders in fabricating and assembling metal components. Learn and practice different welding techniques according to project requirements. Prepare metal surfaces for welding by cleaning and grinding. Inspect welds for quality and structural integrity, ensuring adherence to specifications. Follow strict safety guidelines and maintain welding equipment. Read and interpret welding blueprints and technical drawings. Requirements A strong interest in metal fabrication and welding. Manual dexterity and good hand-eye coordination. Willingness to learn and adhere to safety protocols. Ability to work in a workshop environment and handle physical tasks.
