Description The Data Center Design (DCD) Team at Leidos currently has an opening for an intern to assist us in transforming Data Center Design. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience supporting the Service Management, Integration, and Transport (SMIT) contract, the largest IT services program for the Navy. Under SMIT, the Leidos team delivers the core backbone of the Navy-Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI), including data center infrastructure design, network architecture, configuration management, and digital engineering services. The successful candidate will support the DCD team in designing, documenting, and implementing critical infrastructure solutions that enable naval operations worldwide while gaining exposure to cutting-edge digital engineering methodologies including Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE). Primary Responsibilities: • Support the development and review of Data Center Design Requests (DCDR) and associated technical documentation for network infrastructure projects across multiple naval installations • Assist with operations including layout manipulations, block updates, and device insertions using Request for Changes (RFCs) • Participate in data integrity verification activities, including device status research and quality control measures for configuration management databases • Collaborate with modelers and model curators to troubleshoot and resolve project implementation issues • Support the preparation of importable data files a
