Barrows Design & Manufacturing is looking for a Graduate Design Engineer to join our 2027 Graduate Programme. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on exposure across Engineering, Design, Prototyping and Manufacturing, while working alongside experienced teams and learning how a product moves from concept through to production. What You’ll Be Exposed To As a Graduate Design Engineer, you will rotate through relevant Barrows departments and gain practical experience in: Manufacturing & Production • Spend time on the prototyping and production floors to understand Barrows' manufacturing and production processes. • Develop an understanding of how engineering decisions impact manufacturing and production. Engineering & Design • Gain practical exposure within the Engineering Department. • Learn Barrows' engineering and design processes and ways of working. • Create 3D models and drawing packs for manufacturing purposes. Product Development • Develop an understanding of the complete product development lifecycle, from Studio through to Production. • Learn how to make informed engineering decisions that support product integrity, quality and delivery.
