Internship opportunity in Medical Management at the Road Accident Fund, offering hands-on experience in injury assessment, bill review, and stakeholder engagement. Your Role Key responsibilities include: • Assist with injury assessment administration, undertakings administration (drafting, issuing, activation, etc.), and caregiver management process • Review and process medical invoices for Supplier Claims, Past Medical expenses, and future medical expenses • Use risk management tools in bill review including medical tariffs, clinical codes, and treatment protocols to ensure compliance with RAF and managed healthcare principles • Participate in the implementation and maintenance of a formal exception handling process within medical management • Maintain documentation and regularly update the exception handling process • Follow-up and resolve queries within predefined turnaround times • Engage with external stakeholders such as families of claimants, service providers, and direct claimants • Perform general office administration, filing, and data capturing related to claims administration About You The company is looking for: • Unemployed graduates aged 18 to 25 with no prior employment in Medical Management or previous internship experience • Certified Grade 12/NQF 4 level certificate • Certified copy of relevant NQF 7 Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Diploma in Health Sciences or medical-related qualification • Certified copy of registration certificate with HPCSA, SANC, SAPC
