Aggeneys, Northern Cape, South Africa Fixed Term Contract Job Description ROLE PROFILE GENERAL Date September2026 Location Aggeneys,Northern Cape Operations (Pleaseindicate the operation – by ticking the appropriate box) • GB • BMM Job Grade Retainer ROLE CONTEXT VedantaZinc International (VZI) operates two major mining complexes in the NorthernCape: • Gamsberg – a large-scale open ‑ pit zinc mine requiring precise spatial control, accurate volumetricreporting and continuous survey support to enable safe, efficient andcompliant mining to optimise profitability and longevity of the operation. • Black Mountain Mine (BMM) – an underground operation where survey accuracy directly influencesdevelopment alignment, stope design, ore flow reconciliation and statutorycompliance. The learner must successfully complete the required theoreticaltraining, workplace practical training and assessments and demonstratecompetence against the applicable occupational/learnership. PURPOSE OFTHE ROLE To participate in structured theoretical and practical training inmineral processing operations while developing the skills, knowledge, andcompetencies required to operate and monitor mineral processing equipmentsafely and efficiently in accordance with company standards, legalrequirements, and operational procedures.
