Job Description Pipe Welder able to weld in the 6G Position and Pass The Pipe Welder will be responsible for making x-ray quality pipe welds on various pipe sizes (1/2” to 24”), thicknesses (schedule 10 thru 160) and materials (e.g., carbon steel, stainless steel, exotic metals). The welder must be able to weld GTAW and SMAW successfully and accurately in multiple positions. The welder must also be able to accurately read and understand ISO’s and P&IDs drawings.
