SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE The Pipe Welder assists pipefitters with fit-up of piping systems, accomplishes welding piping onboard ship and shop fabrication for P-1 piping including working off and entering data into PCPs. Welding needs to pass all NDTs including hydrostatic testing. For the production of Navy ship repair and other marine and commercial equipment. Pipe Welders must possess trade specific tools.
