The Opportunity BAE Systems is seeking a Programmer Intern for Summer 2027. Join our Software Solutions Team within our IT Program Area and become a member of a diverse, enthusiastic, and highly productive team, where each employee has the opportunity to grow their skills and work on rewarding projects by providing system administration support for COTS/GOTS enterprise software in support of the US Navy's Strategic Systems Programs, the sea-based leg of the U.S. nuclear triad. The selected candidate will perform the following functions working closely with interdisciplinary teams: • Building and coding applications and/or modules using languages such as Java, C#, visual basic, ABAP, PHP, SQL, XTML, etc. • Preparing operating instructions, compiling documentation of program development, and analyzing system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls • Providing patches and upgrades to existing systems • Building add-on modules using application program language Who You Are • You a
