Public Policy Intern – Summer 2027 Location: District of Columbia (Washington, DC) This role requires associates to work from the posted locations full-time, enabling consistent face-to-face collaboration, teamwork, and direct engagement. This policy promotes an environment built on in-person interaction, communication, and immediate support. The Public Policy Intern will support Elevance Health’s public policy team by analyzing federal and state policy developments affecting healthcare and preparing policy summaries and other written materials. Working with team members, the intern will contribute to the development of public policy positions and strategic initiatives. The Public Policy Internship program is a 12-week, full-time program running from May 17th, 2027 – August 6th, 2027. This internship is offered in partnership with Indiana University’s Capital Campus program, with recruitment focused on Indiana University students.
