POSITION INFO: Key Responsibilities Assist with the manufacture, maintenance and repair of tooling and dies. Gain hands-on experience with conventional and precision machining equipment. Assist with tool maintenance, adjustments and modifications. Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications. Apply accurate measuring and inspection techniques. Assist experienced Toolmakers with tooling and production-related tasks. Follow all safety, quality and housekeeping requirements. Develop practical knowledge of manufacturing and toolroom processes. Minimum requirements Toolmaking qualification or currently in the final year of Toolmaking studies . Newly qualified candidates are encouraged to apply. Basic knowledge of machining, tooling and engineering drawings. Ability to use precision measuring equipment. Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn. Good attention to detail and accuracy. Must be committed to completing the learnership and gaining practical experience.
