Millwrights are crucial to the smooth operation of factories and industrial plants, responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing complex machinery. You will receive comprehensive theoretical and practical training, learning to work with a wide range of mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems under the guidance of experienced professionals. Key Responsibilities • Assist experienced millwrights in the installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial machinery. • Learn to read and interpret mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics and blueprints. • Operate various hand and power tools, including welding and cutting equipment. • Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance tasks on plant equipment. • Disassemble, repair, and reassemble complex machinery components. • Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and system failures. • Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company policies within the Sandton facility. • Maintain tools, equipment, and the work area in a clean and orderly condition. • Participate actively in technical training sessions and coursework.
